Meet Omaira "Omi" Minjarez
Founder & Program Director
With more than 10 years of gymnastics coaching and leadership, Omi has helped hundreds of children build confidence, coordination and a love for movement. A proud UTEP graduate, she's CPR certified, SafeSport trained, a USA Gymnastics certified instructor and a gymnastics judge — and spent seven years as a dance instructor with the local nonprofit Kids Excel El Paso.
Opening her own gym has been a lifelong dream. Her goal for Sun City is simple: a place where every child feels supported, challenged and inspired to become the best version of themselves.

What ages do you serve?
Children ages 18 months through 16 years, across Preschool Gymnastics, Kids Gymnastics, Sun City Ninjas and Kids Night Out.
What if my child has never done gymnastics?
Perfect — most kids start as beginners. Our programs are designed to build confidence and skills at your child's own pace.
Can I watch my child's class?
Yes. Parents are welcome to stay and watch, especially in our preschool programs.
Are your coaches certified?
Yes. Our coaching team is trained in safety and instruction standards — and drug-tested.
Do I need to pick a class time today?
No. Just reserve your Grand Opening spot online — we'll help you choose your program and schedule before opening day.
Is there a contract?
